Adacta, a leading software provider for the insurance industry, has won a new client, Die Haftpflichtkasse VVaG, one of Germany’s most renowned property and casualty insurers.
The Haftpflichtkasse is gradually replacing its existing core system with AdInsure, Adacta’s insurance platform, laying the foundation for the “Insurance Business of the Future” — characterized by greater efficiency, innovation, and uncompromising customer focus.
For Adacta, this project marks another milestone in expanding its presence in the DACH region and underscores its commitment to actively supporting insurers in their transformation journey.
Die Haftpflichtkasse is using AdInsure to rethink processes, accelerate product development, and implement regulatory requirements more efficiently. The focus is not only on the technological shift but also on a cultural change: existing processes are being questioned and redesigned from the perspective of customers and partners.
“We are not just buying technology; we are building the insurance business of the future,” explains CEO Dr. Frank Welfens, responsible for Operations and Claims at Die Haftpflichtkasse.
“We are fundamentally reimagining our processes and workflows, placing the needs of our customers and partners at the center of everything we do.”
Following the completion of the analysis and scoping phase, implementation began in September 2025. The multi-year transformation program covers liability, accident, and household insurance and includes all core business processes – from underwriting to claims handling. The aim is not only to modernize existing processes but also to actively reimagine and further develop the “Business of the of the future.” The solution based on AdInsure will become the leading system for policy administration and claims management, providing the foundation for stable and reliable management of data.
The decision to select AdInsure followed a rigorous evaluation process, including a proof of concept in which the platform demonstrated its strengths in functionality, flexibility, and ease of configuration through the low-code/no-code tool AdInsure Studio. This will enable Die Haftpflichtkasse to respond more quickly to market and regulatory changes and maintain its competitive edge.
“This partnership demonstrates how Adacta combines powerful configuration capabilities, a secure and reliable architecture, and deep local market knowledge,” says Michael Breidenband, Country Manager Germany at Adacta.
“With AdInsure, Die Haftpflichtkasse ensures that its operations remain resilient, compliant, and customer-oriented not only today but also in the future.”
Die Haftpflichtkasse also views this as a decisive step:
“AdInsure provides us with a modern core system featuring comprehensive functionality and integrated regulatory support. Of particular importance to us is the ability to launch new products much faster and to address critical issues such as IT security. This will allow us to deliver even better service to our customers and strengthen our partnerships in a targeted way,” adds Dr. Claus Hunold, Executive Board Member for Sales, Marketing, and Product Management at Die Haftpflichtkasse.
