For the last couple of years, Adacta has sponsored the Summer Computing Camp for young coding enthusiasts.
Organized by Zveza za tehnično kulturo Slovenija and Šola prihodnosti Maribor, the 7-day coding camp continues to be a fun and encouraging learning environment for the Slovenian youth taking their first steps into the world of computing.
Boris Bajic, CEO of Adacta, comments:
“For Adacta, Summer Computing Camp represents an opportunity to give back to the community and inspire future generations to learn more about the technology and the field of computing we are so passionate about. We are amazed by how many young kids are interested in coding and we believe this computing camp is one of the best ways for them to not only get the encouragement but also mentorship from professionals in the industry.”
A former attendee turned mentor, Andraž Juvan, now a Software Developer at Adacta, says:
“A couple of years ago, I have joined the Summer Computing Camp as an attendee. My mentor at the time inspired me to take further steps into the computing world and has later become my co-worker. Now I try to give back by mentoring kids myself. The camp is designed to give kids of different backgrounds and skill levels the appropriate challenge and an opportunity to learn in a fun and relaxed environment.”
